Dies, obwohl zahlreiche Personen, die an der Produktion dieser Serie arbeiteten, in Amerika auf den schwarzen Listen der sogenannten McCarthy-Aera standen. Im Zentrum dieser Untersuchung steht die Frage, ob und wie deren Schicksal sich auf die Handlungen einzelner, ausgesuchter Episonden auswirkt.

This text is based on a paper I presented at the University of Paris 8 in 2014. It discusses the british televion series "The Adventures of Robin Hood" which was first broadcast in 1955 and thus not only became one of the very first programs on ITV, but also one of the earliest british television productions to be broadcast in the US. Nonetheless, many people who worked on the production of this program were blacklisted in the America of the so-called McCarthy-era. This article focusses on their plight and the question, if and how this is mirrored in a selection of the series' episodes.
